僕のSNSで最近よく投稿しているLikeFiveESですが、意外とまだまだこの実力を
知らない方が多いので、今回はこのレポートをご覧の方だけにこっそり教えちゃいます！
まずLikeFiveESですが、ENGINEの5インチフィッシュワームの始まりは
LikeFiveからでした。
LikeFiveも登場してすぐにほんとによく釣れて、全国でもハイプレッシャーフィールド
として知られる相模湖・津久井湖、そしてデカバスフィールドの津風呂湖でもよく釣れました！
基本はジグヘッドを使用した通称≪パワーミドスト≫で多用していましたが、
ワーム素材のLikeFiveはチャターのトレーラーとしても多用していました。
当初はLikeFiveがあればパワーミドスト系は充分と思っていたのですが、昨年優勝した
JAPAN SUPER BASS CLASSIC2025で一気に見方が変わりました！
JAPAN SUPER BASS CLASSIC2025の会場は津風呂湖だったのですが、晩秋のスクーリング
フィッシュを狙い、最初はLikeFiveを投げたのですが、反応が悪く….
その後に色々な5インチワームを投げるも反応しないため、これは素材の力に頼るしかないと
思い投げたLikeFiveESに1投で突進バイト！！
その後も30分で3匹 合計約5,800gを全てLikeFiveESでキャッチ。
さすがにルアーパワーを感じましたね。
今年に入ってからもLikeFiveESのパワーを実感すべく、様々なシチュエーションで
投げましたが、七色ダムでもプリプラクティスで55cmが開始5分で釣れたりと異様な
デカバス率…
そしてTOP50 七色戦終わりで立ち寄った琵琶湖では、サイズ問わず1日1匹取れれば良い方と
言われていたコンディションの中で3kgオーバーの3,100gと3,300gをキャッチ！
どうなってんだ！？
ちなみに僕が良く使うLikeFiveESのタックルは以下の通り

ジグヘッドは基本3.5gをベースにし、浅ければ1.8g、深ければ5gぐらいまで使っています。
そして何よりLikeFiveESのキモはワーム素材では出せないロールのし易さと、
足元まで来てラインが張りやすくなっても全然ロールすることです！
これ結構重要で、ミドストの釣りはイケイケのバスならそのまま勢いで食ってしまいますが、
大半はずっと追ってくる魚が多く、足元までロールできることでチャンスゾーンが
圧倒的に増えるんです！
これに気付けると魚がより釣りやすくなります。
まだまだこれから春のシーズンがより進むにつれてLikeFiveESのパワーミドストは
炸裂していくと思いますので、ぜひ釣行の際にお忘れなく！

I’ve been posting a lot about LikeFiveES on my social media lately, but surprisingly, many people still don’t know how good it really is.
So, this time, I’m going to secretly share some information just with those of you reading this report!
First, about LikeFiveES: ENGINE’s 5-inch fish worms started with LikeFive.
LikeFive was incredibly effective right from the start, catching fish in high-pressure fishing spots across Japan,
including Lake Sagami, Lake Tsukui, and Lake Tsuburo, known for its large bass!
I primarily used it with a jig head in what’s commonly called “power mid-strolling,” but I also frequently used the worm-based LikeFive as a chatterbait trailer.
Initially, I thought LikeFive was sufficient for power mid-strolling, but my experience winning the JAPAN SUPER BASS CLASSIC 2025 last year
completely changed my perspective!
The JAPAN SUPER BASS CLASSIC 2025 was held at Lake Tsuburo, and I was targeting late autumn schooling fish.
Initially, I threw a LikeFive, but there was little response…
After that, I tried various 5-inch worms, but still no response. Thinking I had no choice but to rely on the power of the material, I threw a
LikeFiveES, and on the first cast, a powerful bite!!
In the next 30 minutes, I caught three more fish, totaling approximately 5,800g, all with LikeFiveES.
I really felt the power of the lure.
Since the beginning of this year, I’ve been casting the LikeFiveES in various situations to experience its power firsthand.
At Nanairo Dam, I caught a 55cm bass within 5 minutes of starting pre-practice, showing an unusually high rate of big bass…
And at Lake Biwa, where I stopped by after the TOP50 Nanairo tournament, I caught two bass weighing over 3kg each (3,100g and 3,300g) in conditions
where catching even one fish a day, regardless of size, was considered good.
What’s going on?!
By the way, here’s the LikeFiveES tackle I often use:

I generally use a 3.5g jighead, but I use 1.8g in shallow water and up to 5g in deeper water.
And most importantly, the key to the LikeFiveES is its ease of rolling, which is impossible to achieve with worm materials, and
It continues to roll even when the line becomes taut near your feet!
This is quite important. While aggressive bass will bite immediately in mid-strolling,
most fish will follow the lure, and the ability to roll it all the way to your feet dramatically increases the chances of a bite!
Realizing this will make catching fish much easier.
As the spring season progresses, I believe the LikeFiveES Power Midstroll will become even more effective, so please don’t forget to bring it with you on your next fishing trip!
